Axmo Deus is a horror production company which was launched in 2020 with its acclaimed 1-Minute web series that premiered at Shockfest film festival and won - absolutely nothing. But, in natural fashion, the $666 prize money wasn’t as important as the laurel that ended up on the poster, thus beginning the spiral of a villain origin story.
The anthology series was a little peek into the different worlds of restless spirits, hungry monsters and serial killers. Since its inception it has won Best Web Series and Best TV Script at Top Shorts 2022. In particular, notable recognition has been received for episodes: ClimaxXx, which took home Best Film in Australia’s Academy of Cinema and Television Art’s [AACTA] LMAO competition, and SCORN, placing as a finalist in AACTA’s Monsterfest Pitch 2021. Could this be a redemption arc?
Currently the team is collecting accolades and chasing public validation for their childhood insecurities through the development of short films and three features… hopefully… for you…
